NullVault exports only when you deliberately choose content and a destination. The exported copy is decrypted and is no longer protected by its NullVault pattern once it leaves the vault.
The feature
Export selected content deliberately, with a clear warning that the decrypted destination copy is outside NullVault's protection.
Export is useful precisely because encrypted vault data sometimes needs to become an ordinary file again—for editing, printing, submitting, or transferring through a tool you trust. NullVault makes that a selected action rather than an automatic synchronization path.
Before export, the item is governed by its vault session. After export, the receiving app, document provider, gallery, and any connected cloud service control the new copy.
Export only the items needed for the task and review the destination before confirming. Where a platform supports batch export, convenience increases the importance of checking the selection carefully.
Deleting a later NullVault item does not recall exported copies. Sharing restrictions in the iOS connected-sharing feature can govern the normal recipient interface, but cannot erase a copy that was already made.
