Free and Pro on iPhone

The US App Store listing describes the following limits as of 7 September 2026. These are iOS plan details; do not assume that Android has identical limits or purchase entitlements.

Capability NullVault Free for iOS NullVault Pro for iOS
Local vaults Up to 5 Unlimited, subject to available storage
Total items across vaults Up to 20 Unlimited, subject to available storage
Collections One per vault Unlimited, subject to available storage
Encrypted backup Included Included
Accent and pattern-grid customization Included Included
Controlled read-only sharing Not included Included
Duress vault configuration Not included Included
Alternate app icons Not included Included

Start with non-sensitive sample files. Check importing, locking, recovery, backup, and exporting before deciding whether the limits fit your own use. Paying for Pro does not remove the security limitations of a compromised device, an observed pattern, or a copy already exported elsewhere.

Where to find current prices

Open NullVault on the App Store for iPhone, or NullVault on Google Play for Android. The store purchase screen is the source for the final amount, currency, tax treatment, and any eligibility conditions.

The iOS listing offers monthly and annual subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Manage the iOS purchase through your Apple Account. Before choosing lifetime access, read the entitlement shown by the store; do not assume that an iOS purchase also unlocks an Android product.

Can I use a photo vault without a subscription?

NullVault Free on iPhone does not require a Pro subscription within the limits above. The iOS store also offers a one-time lifetime Pro purchase as an alternative to recurring Pro plans. The purchase screen defines the entitlement; it does not automatically include another platform. Check the Android listing separately.

Does unlimited mean unlimited storage?

No. The iOS Pro plan removes the listed item, vault and collection limits, but content still needs available device storage. Cloud backup capacity and provider charges are separate. A large video library also needs room for transfers and backups. See original-quality imports and large videos before choosing a plan by item count alone.

Recovery is separate from a purchase

A purchase receipt is not a vault recovery credential. NullVault has no conventional account-reset service for local vaults. Keep the appropriate recovery phrase and a tested backup before relying on the app for irreplaceable content. See recovery phrase versus encrypted backup.
